SEJ Services is seeking an Facility Services Account Manager to join the team in Baton Rouge, LA. The successful candidate will oversee all branch operations. The ideal candidate will have service industry management experience, strong attention to detail, and superior managerial skills. The candidate must also have excellent organizational, proactive communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
This position is required to maintain the scope of work as contracted by the customer. As such, this position may need to perform physical tasks or fill-in for all laborers who call out of work. This may include bending, lifting, walking, stocking supplies and performing various facilities maintenance tasks depending on the contracted scope of work at your assigned site(s).
The position reports to the Branch Manager and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Facility Account Manager Job Summary and Duties:

- 3:00PM-12:00AM Monday-Friday
- This site is an elementary and middle school campus. The manager MUST be able to pass a State AND Catholic Church Diocese background check.Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; training, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by monitoring labor hours and supply inventories.
- Conducts facility walkthroughs to inspect the quality of work and safety compliance. All issues will be discussed with the janitorial crew and managed through the online work order system.
- Meets with customers to discuss issues and foster a positive relationship by having a strong customer service mentality.
- Responds to ALL calls for assigned accounts at all times (this includes nights and weekends if necessary).
- Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; being proactive in identifying and preventing potential problems; recommending operational improvements.
- Assist with all hiring, training, coaching, and counseling of employees and provide timely feedback to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Oversee the training and development of branch staff; helping staff take responsibility for and have autonomy in decision-making and creative problem-solving
- The manager must understand that there are children (students) on campus at all times of the day and that family and friends of these students will be on site at all times.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $40,000-$45,000 depending on experience. Experience in the janitorial industry is not necessary but 1-3 years is prefered.
- 401K: SEJ Services does a Safe Harbor match of 100% of your plan contributions up to 4% of compensation.
